Chelsworth Open Gardens

Chelsworth is a picturesque village situated in the beautiful Brett valley, it is considered by many to be one of the prettiest in the whole of Suffolk

The residents of Chelsworth have opened their gardens on the last Sunday in June for the last 55 years making it, the longest running Open Gardens event in the country. In 2025 Felixstowe Travel have been invited to join the event and give you the chance to explore the lovely gardens.

As well as 20+ beautiful gardens for you to enjoy you can also explore the Chelsworth Woodland a two-acre area of woodland managed by the village, the area has maintained paths, areas of bluebells and snowdrops, and native wildflowers including varieties of orchids. Other attractions include trade stalls, refreshments and entertainments throughout the day.
